Frequently Asked Questions
HONEST Pathology was founded to empower patients with knowledge to take control of their diagnosis. From the convenience of your schedule, we connect you with a team of highly experienced, US board certified Pathologists.
Simply call your medical provider’s office and request a printed copy. By law, you are entitled to any portion of your medical record, including any and all pathology reports.
If your medical provider has an online patient portal, login and search for your report. It may be listed under the laboratory section.
If you still have issues, we may be able to help. Send us a message to hello@honestpathology.com
From the “Services” tab, you will select the Principal, Discovery, or Autopsy consultation package you desire. From there, you will follow the prompts on our encrypted HIPPA-compliant portal, selecting an appointment date and time that is convenient for you. Payment is required to confirm the appointment. Immediately afterwards, you will receive emails confirming your payment, appointment date, and how to set up your HONEST Pathology account. It’s that easy.

Examples include, but are not limited to: pathologic staging, surgical margins, histologic subtyping, molecular and genetic therapeutic testing recommendations.
The Principal Consultation is based solely on the pathology report you have obtained from your doctor. Your appointment will revolve around explaining the report, line-by-line, in an interactive and visual manner.
The Discovery Consultation includes both the Principal Consultation AND images from the patient’s (YOUR) actual pathology microscopic tissue slides.
The Autopsy Consultation is a thorough walk through explaining the findings of a medical/hospital autopsy report designed to give you peace of mind. At this time, we cannot consult on forensic autopsy reports.
